AIService
AIService can run secretly on your system.

The AIService Virus

Many online users catch Trojan horse viruses such as Trestorex, Spatlex, and AIService Virus without even realizing it. Sadly, these threats have no visible symptoms which can give them away. They also use different forms of disguise and stealth as methods for getting distributed and the chances of catching them without a trusted antivirus software on your PC are oftentimes rather low. The hackers who create viruses such as the AIService Virus usually spread them in ways and places where the web users are likely to go and interact with the malware source. Normally, the victims are misled to install the malware, believing that it is actually some useful application, a needed update, an interesting program, an attachment sent from a colleague or some free application, game, torrent, etc.

What could AIService Virus do?

Trojans like AIService Virus could be responsible for a number of malicious activities. Generally, most Trojans get programmed to perform a specific crime or a harmful “mission” inside the computer. What this mission could be, however, no one can tell you. Only the hackers, who are in control of the infection, could decide what task exactly to program the malware for. However, one thing is sure – it is nothing good for you and your PC. Usually, Trojans like AIService Virus are commonly exploited for fraud and theft of various sensitive data. Such pieces of malware may provide their creators with unauthorized access to the computer and let them establish remote control over the entire system. With such a level of access, the crooks can easily perform any cyber crime they want.

Step1 Uninstall the AIService app and kill its processes

The first thing you must try to do is look for any sketchy installs on your computer and uninstall anything you think may come from AIService. After that, you’ll also need to get rid of any processes that may be related to the unwanted app by searching for them in the Task Manager.

Note that sometimes an app, especially a rogue one, may ask you to install something else or keep some of its data (such as settings files) on your PC – never agree to that when trying to delete a potentially rogue software. You need to make sure that everything is removed from your PC to get rid of the malware. Also, if you aren’t allowed to go through with the uninstallation, proceed with the guide, and try again after you’ve completed everything else.

  • Uninstalling the rogue app
  • Killing any rogue processes

Type Apps & Features in the Start Menu, open the first result, sort the list of apps by date, and look for suspicious recently installed entries.

Click on anything you think could be linked to AIService, then select uninstall, and follow the prompts to delete the app.
