ArchiveIdea is potentially unwanted program that will normally add undesired components to popular Mac browsers like Safari, Chrome and Firefox and will force users to use them. The victims of ArchiveIdea will detect unauthorized changes in their browser’s search engine and/or homepage.

The ArchiveIdea malware is on Mac.

The good news is that these changes can be removed and, on this page, you will find a detailed removal guide and a professional removal tool that can help you with that. ArchiveIdea can easily be detected by the people who currently have it on their Mac system because it not only makes modifications to the browser’s search engine and homepage settings but also reveals its presence by spamming the screen with pop-up ads, banner messages, colorful offers and deals that cannot be removed. The intrusive app also initiates automated page redirects to predetermined websites and can also attach additional toolbars and buttons in the toolbar section of the browser.

Sadly, it is impossible for most users to handle the browser updates and to normally navigate the Internet using the recently introduced search engine, the updated homepage address and the other components that ArchiveIdea has integrated without their permission. That is why they prefer to remove or totally uninstall the intrusive software and reset their settings. If you are among these people, the removal guide on this website will serve you well as it includes concrete removal steps and a specialized removal tool to uninstall ArchiveIdea once and for all.

ArchiveIdea for Mac

ArchiveIdea for Mac is a piece of software that raises concerns among web users due to its ability to make changes to their web browsers. Many people confuse ArchiveIdea for Mac for a virus or Malware similar to Ransomware or Trojans but, in reality, this is a browser hijacker used to redirect user traffic to ad-supported sites.

The most relieving fact about the browser hijackers is that they cannot cause damage to your computer like Trojans or encrypt important files like Ransomware cryptoviruses. While this news can be calming, the hijackers are still pieces of software widely considered as potentially unwanted. They can make many unauthorized modifications to key web browser settings and can redirect users to non-trustful or irrelevant web materials.  ArchiveIdea, for instance, can actively interrupt your web surfing by repeatedly flooding your screen with pop-up advertisements, banners, and offers that invite you to click on them which can be a good reason to want to remove it.

ArchiveIdea on Safari

ArchiveIdea is a browser hijacker that usually installs multiple components for ad-generation and page redirects inside the default Mac web browser. ArchiveIdea typically delivers pop-up advertisements, intriguing offers, colorful banners and blinking alerts to the screen and reroutes users to affiliate websites.

Normally, ArchiveIdea is known to add supporting elements to the system’s main web browser in an attempt to display large volumes of pay-per-click advertisements and page-redirect links. These may include a new search engine that delivers sponsored search results, a new toolbar with shortcut buttons to specific sites or a new homepage that loads a specific domain every time the user starts a new browsing session.

The ArchiveIdea app

The ArchiveIdea app is a programming piece that has been developed to forward traffic from Mac browsers to predefined websites. When a user has the ArchiveIdea app integrated with his browser, he will experience automatic page-rerouting to specific links and a stream of aggressive commercials that prompt him to click on pre-determined web addresses.

Many people can install such software when they download and run a free software package or an auto-update without manually changing the configuration. The biggest irritation for them comes from the fact that they can’t quickly uninstall the browser hijacker or remove its changes when it starts to disturb them. Luckily, the instructions in the removal guide that you will find below can help you easily cope with the unwanted program and eliminate it once and for all.
