Black Kingdom Ransomware

Black Kingdom

Black Kingdom is a ransomware threat that infects computers with no apparent symptoms and encrypts the files stored on them. Black Kingdom mainly blocks access to documents, images, videos, audios and similar commonly used file types and asks the owner to pay a ransom for decrypting them.

Black Kingdom

The Black Kingdom Ransomware will leave this message in a .txt file

The behavior of this ransomware infection is based on a relatively simple extortion scheme. The cyber criminals that are behind Black Kingdom use it to encrypt personal or professional data without the victims’ knowledge and request a money payment to send them a special decryption key for the recovery of the encrypted information. The ransomware is usually scheduled to search the entire computer and to locate the most commonly used files in order to make the victims more desperate to pay for the decryption key. The files that may be of interest to Black Kingdom may include digital documents, images, videos, audio recordings, databases, archives, etc. Once encrypted, their file extension can be replaced with a strange file extension that cannot be recognized by any program. If you want to recover them, the hackers give you the opportunity to “purchase” the decryption key from them.

They normally send you a ransom-demanding note, but the payment they require is typically not in normal currency but in a cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin or another one. Since the authorities cannot verify precisely where the transfer of the cryptocurrency is going and who gets the money, this method of payment grants the crooks anonymity. At the same time, if you send the hackers the money and you get nothing in return, you can’t get a refund. That’s why instead of paying the ransom it is a much better idea to explore some alternative methods that may potentially help you remove Black Kingdom and recover some of your information for free. In the next lines we will give you several options for file recovery and a thorough removal guide describing how to remove the ransomware you are faced with.

The Black Kingdom Ransomware

The Black Kingdom virus is a recent type of ransomware that attacks computers by encrypting the files stored on them. The cyber criminals behind the Black Kingdom virus require the victims to pay a ransom to decrypt the encrypted data and put a message with instructions and deadlines on the computer’s screen.

Black Kingdom Ransomware

The Black Kingdom Ransomware will encrypt all of your files with the .DEMON extension.

It is really important to not panic and rush to meet the hackers’ demands out of fear and frustration because there is no guarantee that the crooks will provide you with the decryption key even if you fulfill all of their requirements. That’s why, if you have already been targeted by a cryptovirus such as Black Kingdom, Avaddon or Eight we recommend that you first look for possible methods to remove the ransomware and restore your files with no ransom payments.

The Black Kingdom file encryption

The Black Kingdom file encryption is a dynamic algorithm that converts digital files into bits of data that are unreadable. The Black Kingdom file encryption code can be applied to any file format and only a matching decryption key can reverse it.

If you are searching for a way to remove Black Kingdom from your computer and restore your files without paying any ransom, first of all, you have to delete the cryptovirus. This can be done manually or with the assistance of a professional removal tool such as the one on this page.
