The browser hijackers are not a new form of browsing disturbance. These pieces of software have long been some of the most annoying potentially unwanted applications that one could have installed on their computer because they can be extremely intrusive and irritating. A lot of web users all over the world are daily forced to deal with browser hijackers and their browser changes, automatic page redirects and aggressive ads and pop-ups generation. One of the more recent representatives of this software group is Chardwardse club – a browser hijacker application which promotes itself as an extension for browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Explorer and promises to enhance your web surfing experience. However, the way this extension works is quite different than what you would expect. Instead of making your browsing smoother, more pleasant and easier, this browser hijacker usually seeks to modify some of your browser’s components (homepage domains, search engine tools, new tab pages, toolbars, etc.) and force its sponsored links, ads, pop-ups and banners on your screen. Typically, this software may initiate automatic page-redirects to different Pay-Per-Click commercials, platforms that seek to promote certain products or services and webpages that pay for traffic generation. This is the thing that actually makes applications like Chardwardse club “Virus” so annoying. When they get installed on your system, most hijackers won’t let you browse the web in peace without pushing various advertising messages and promotional links on your screen. Since they earn revenue from the any clicks made to the ads, these applications will try to prompt you to click on the displayed content and would not let you remove the ads unless you firstly interact with them. For example, if you try to close a given advert by clicking on the “X” button, it may not actually close but automatically redirect you to its related website. If you get rid of one promotional tab, a new pop-up window will probably quickly replace it. Also, regardless of how many times you may try to uninstall the browser extensions, homepages or toolbars from the hijacked browser, they may appear again the next time you open your browsing program. Basically, bringing things back to normal may not be possible unless all the related Browser hijacking components are removed. This, however, is a task that requires some basic understanding of the nature of this software and its specifics. That’s why, for those of you who want to uninstall Chardwardse club from their system, we have prepared some helpful information in the paragraphs below. There you will also find a step-by-step Removal Guide and a professional Chardwardse club “Virus” removal tool, both of which can help you deal with the annoying application without risk for your system. Does Chardwardse club “Virus” pose any danger to my computer?

Most security specialists do not consider the Browser hijackers to be serious computer threats. However, they agree that these pieces of software can be potentially unwanted and highly irritating to some users despite the fact that they do not act like typical viruses. For instance, the hijackers can redirect users to various inappropriate or insecure web locations and expose them to aggressive ads with questionable legitimacy. That’s why, it’s generally preferable to uninstall applications like Chardwardse club rather then allowing them to stay on the computer. What is more, you never know when such software may display potentially dangerous pop-ups, links or pages. Many hackers often use methods like malvertising to distribute viruses such as Ransomware, Spyware, Trojans or Worms and it is perfectly possible to get exposed to malware-distributing ads if you have a hijacker on your PC. That’s why, it is better to stay on the safer side by avoiding the redirects and the ads that come from the hijacker. Of course, it is not certain that Chardwardse club will land you on something harmful. The hijacking software is pretty harmless on its own in most of the cases and is usually not related to any malicious activity. Still, it might be annoying to deal with its randomly displayed promotional adverts and redirects which is a good reason to have it removed.

How to keep such unwanted software away from your PC in the future?

The typical malware categories (such as Trojans, Ransomware, Spyware, etc.) typically use deceptive and stealthy methods of infection. Browser hijackers, on the other hand, are not a viruses and cannot infect you on their own. In most of the cases, you’d end up landing an application like Chardwardse club on your computer when you carelessly install a software bundle or an update request without first customizing its setup settings. Typically, if you frequently download freeware, torrents or new applications from different free download links, you are more likely to encounter browser hijackers because they are typically included as additional components in other free application installers. The good news is that you can easily opt-out from the installation of such additional components by manually disabling them from the setup menu. The only thing you need to do is to carefully read the EULA and all of the small text or pre-selected checkbox and choose the Advanced/Custom installation method instead of the Automatic/Quick one so that you’d have the option to uncheck anything added that looks suspicious and undesirable.
