Click To Have Fun Online is a browser hijacker application, which may cause various potentially unwanted changes to the settings of your Chrome, Firefox or Explorer browser (other browsers could also get affected). Its presence is usually indicated by the appearance of some strange new homepage or search engine and the generation of annoying pop-ups, hard-to-remove ads and banners on the screen. This browser-invading application also tends to initiate some automatic page redirects to certain sponsored web pages and to prompt the users to click on promotional links. Such activities are considered as potentially unwanted by a number of web users and if you are one of them, on this page, you will learn how to uninstall Click To Have Fun Online and remove all of its annoying and unwanted changes. There is a detailed Removal Guide just below and a professional removal tool for automatic assistance, both of which are dedicated to helping you deal with the strange application. Before you scroll down to the instructions, though, it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the specifics that the browser hijackers have because these pieces of software are very common and may sometimes be the cause of certain system issues. You can very easily get a hijacker in your PC if you don’t know how to avoid such and, for this reason, in the next lines, we have listed the most common sources of browser hijackers, their methods of distribution as well as some useful tips for prevention and protection.

What is the purpose of applications like Click To Have Fun Online Virus?

Applications like Click To Have Fun Online are typically used to spam the users’ browsers with various sponsored commercials such as pop-ups, various ads, blinking boxes, new tabs and banners of different colors and shapes. They usually force the people to click on specific promotional links or websites by redirecting them or by installing some sponsored tools (search engines, toolbars, homepage domains) on the browser that generate the desired advertising content right on the user screen. For this reason, such pieces of software are considered to be incredibly obstructive and annoying. Luckily, they are not malicious and, apart from their irritating advertising activity, they cannot cause any direct computer harm. The browser hijackers, in general, are nothing more than online tools for digital marketing and they lack the harmful abilities of a typical computer virus such as Ransomware, a Trojan horse or a Spyware infection.

In most of the cases, applications like Click To Have Fun Online are used in some pay-per-click remuneration scheme which is why they aggressively advertise certain products, services, websites, software or other items during the users’ browsing sessions. At the same time, they generate income for their developers with every click on each of the ads. Depending on the nature of the specific application, the browser hijackers could be useful for some users and could provide them with offers, sales deals and promotions, which are relevant to the people’s searches. However, in most of the cases, such applications tend to create annoyance and to disturb the normal browsing experience and this is the main reason why most of the web users prefer to have them uninstalled. Another good reason to remove the browser hijackers form the system could be the risk of clicking on some misleading or infected content. Not that this is guaranteed to happen but there are still cases in which cybercriminals have found a way to sneak a Ransomware, a Spyware or another nasty virus in the random ads streaming to the users’ screens and get the users to click on them. That’s why, those who want to stay safe are strongly advised to avoid interaction with randomly popping-up boxes, links, nagging banners or similar intrusive messages that may get displayed on their screen.

How could browser hijackers hijack your browser and how to prevent this from happening?

Most of the web users are usually unaware of how they have landed a browser hijacker on their system. The reason is, most applications of this category, including Click To Have Fun Online, typically use some sneaky installation methods to get installed on the PC.  Some of these methods include software bundling or automatic installation along with some updates or another free software set. The browser hijackers could also be found as attachments or recommended components added to popular applications and browser add-ons and are usually downloaded and installed by default. The users’ careless behavior during the installation process is also to be blamed because if they pay attention and customize the setup configuration of new programs, no browser hijacker will become part of their system. That’s why, our advice is to always look through the installation menu of every new setup by clicking on the Advanced/Custom/Manual settings and disable any additional components, which might be potentially unwanted.
