thank you for your advice on removing this ‘scanning your device’ pop-up. I didn’t really see any remarks in your article about this being a trojan malware or bug or whatever it’s called (I’m 70), but on my iphone, there was a label above the flashing rectangle that had the word ‘trojan’ in there. (Back in the 80’s, there was lots of that trojan stuff). I did manage to get a quick screenshot with my iphone as the curser was moving (it said ‘your device is being scanned) and then to close the browser and shut everything down before the sequence finished. now, I also cannot get into my hotmail and my gmail accounts had a message ‘thank you for opening your new account’, which is weird because I’ve had gmail for a few years. Please tell me that it’s not the real information bandit that I am dreading. I am writing from the public library as I have shut down all my devices including my hearing aids that have blue tooth enabled If I am brave enough, I will fire them up to check for a reply from you but right now I am plenty freaked out. Missing the gold old days.

Prog was bundled with utorrent , was getting notifications every 20 seconds !! Took hours to get shot of it , what finally got rid of it was its own uninstalled !
Prog files , reasonlabs , three folders within it open each one and scroll to bottom last file is an uninstaller , not checked registery but all seems good n gone !!

I appreciate the help, every so often I come across an app in system settings that wasn’t there before’ this I can be certain because I go thru my apps (system apps to ) on a regular for a few yrs now due to catching my apps from other apps stores 4 in general suddenly switched to {installed from Google Play store } it was an accidental catch ,but has since turned into a daily battle with an entity of insane intrusiveness from Google ,I can’t say for sure ,I only know for certain that any app I get from either Galaxy { when I had access to Samsung Galaxy }or Amazon they always get hijacked and reinstalled from the play store causing me to grow a great bit of distain for anything google .
Can you answer a question for me? if you will ?
Is Google or anyone working in the interest of Google allowed to interfer with
1. Phone set up ?
2. The installation of apps from a store other than play store ?
3.Take over a devices system which includes but not limited to
phone,messages, files and photos
I ask this because for the past 5 yrs I have not been able to access my files from anywhere other than Google Files if I try I get a message that I have no app that can open said file ,when I most certainly do except that they suddenly become unuseful do to them mysteresly being shaded out or I get the repeated message that said app stopped working close or see app info.
this has caused great distress in using any device ,I have tried not signing into Google on my devices but if I get apps from another app store when I go to open them I get a page that usually says ( oops page not working or GET THIS FROM PLAY STORE or SIGN IN to use even if I do not get it from play store .
I am at a lost an I dread using any of my devices , I also am questioning the integrity Of Google and their climb to the number 1 spot within the wide world web was it done legit or by hijacking apps like I catch on a weekly basis ,sometimes they get uninstalled and reinstalled from play store within the hour other times it takes a day or so but they always get hijacked that and the fact that I can not use other apps other than those from the play store and now I find I cannot install a vpn, no matter if I get a new phone or tablet its as if whatever it is is attached to my Google account .
I could go on and on but I will spare you ,I am sure your time is precious ,I do appreciate any light you can shed on this I am now considering going to Apple not because I prefer apple I do not I love Samsung as well as Android however I have convinced myself that Google does not have that much freedom with Apple as it does with Android as well as Samsung , I also was wondering ..Is Samsung aware that this is even happening and if so why is it allowed ?
I no longer enjoy the illussion of choice ,I have watched Google swoop in and take over more setups than I care to remember ,knocks Samsung set up completely out of the way and once signed in to my Google account Google swoops in and spreads itself out thruout my device comadering the heart of my phone which is the Phone/Messeges/Files /Photos and the forever struggle to use any browser that is not Google ,somehow someway Google finds its way there but not before making sure it gives itself every permission available and sliding over to the yes in the
modify device and picture in picture and on top of page ,I can slide it over to NOT ALLOWED but before long sometimes before I even leave the page I see it slide back over to ALLOWED
again let me thank you for taking the time to read this ,that is if you even get it,I have been on support pages before and have seen something letting me know it was being controlled by Google ,I would start in Samsung support but end in Google .
I can not stress enough how this gets to me , the fact that I have no control over ,my device is more than frustrating its on a level higher than disturbing again I ask is this even allowed ?
I do not believe it is , but lets face it Google does what it wants.
I have given thought to opening a forum and beginning a public conversation about this I strongly believe this has to be addressed
a 3rd thank you ,I greatly appreciate the chance to unload what has become a daily challenge for me and the use of any device’

While HitmanPro is a good tool for detecting and removing malware, no single tool is ever 100% foolproof—especially with advanced threats like Trojans. SpyHunter is great choice. If your system still acts strange, consider deeper cleanup steps or a Windows reinstall.

Hi so i had this trojan on my computer yesterday and i used hit a pro to delete it. it seemed to really efficiently get rid of it without much input from me but after reading this article, im afraid the virus may not be fully gone. is hitmanpro good enough to fully get it off my pc?
