The problem might also be an app called “Barcode Scanner”. Uninstall it you likely don’t need it anyway I think the camera app has an automatic reader.

If you do you can download a different app as the infected app has been removed from the store.

The culprit is Barcode Scan app, remove it from the device and done. After removing from my device, it stopped showing those popups in browser now.

^^^What yup yupyup said I searched for a barcode app deleted it and all better. No idea how it got on my phone as I did not down load that app
