GoodCaptchaStyle.top
A number of people have recently been affected by a browser hijacker called GoodCaptchaStyle.top. GoodCaptchaStyle.top is commonly distributed in a package with various free applications, updates, torrents and software bundles.

GoodCaptchaStyle
So it is no surprise that there are so many users who have found GoodCaptchaStyle on their computers as a result from the installation of another software package. No matter how attractive GoodCaptchaStyle may look, however, this application typically has little to no benefit for the people who have it on their PCs as it tends to create a lot of browsing irritation through its ads and endless page-redirects.
GoodCaptchaStyle top
For instance, once GoodCaptchaStyle top becomes part of the system, it may automatically replace the homepage or set a new search engine service to the main browser (it could happen on Chrome, Opera, Firefox and so on). As a typical browser hijacker, GoodCaptchaStyle top may also show tons of pop-up ads during your regular browsing sessions and may prompt you to click on different links, page-redirect offers and intrusive banners.
If you have landed on this page because you are already experiencing such activities, our advice is to be careful around the newly installed components and the randomly generated adverts because there is no guarantee that they are all safe and reliable. If you happen to accidentally click on a misleading ad or the hijacker redirects you to some unfamiliar web location, you may come across security hazards and nasty infections such as ransomware, Trojans and other viruses.
The best way to avoid such an encounter is to remove GoodCaptchaStyle.top and uninstall all of its related components. That’s why, in the removal guide below, we will show you the exact steps that you need to follow in order to safely get rid of the browser hijacker and its potentially unwanted activities.
GoodCaptchaStyle.top can be removed either manually or automatically, but security experts recommend using the second option if you have never dealt with a browser hijacker before. Otherwise you may accidentally fail to delete all the data related to the hijacker such as the browser helper objects which may have been installed in the system along with the ad-generating application.
What issues may GoodCaptchaStyle.top cause if it remains in your system?
GoodCaptchaStyle.top is not a virus or a representative of any malware category. That’s why the application is unlikely to cause any permanent damage to your system or corrupt your files like ransomware or a Trojan horse virus. Yet, you should be careful with the components and the content generated by this application because, as we said above, you never know where they may redirect you to.
It is very clear that the main purpose of this browser hijacker is to earn profit from sponsored ads and links that it displays. Therefore, what you can expect from it is to constantly get prompted to visit different third-party websites and offers during your regular web surfing. Apart from this, you may experience browser unresponsiveness, modified search results, sluggishness and sudden crashes, which may further direct you towards the decision to uninstall the browser hijacker.
