Tips “Virus” Removal (for Android)

This page aims to help you remove the “Virus”. These “Virus” removal instructions work for Android phones.

If you are reading this article, you probably have already been showered with numerous ads, that might be hard to close and very annoying. What’s more, you may have noticed that the advertisements that have been disturbing you aren’t similar to the ordinary ones. Normally, every webpage has some ads embedded in it in order to generate some extra money for its owners. However, when you leave that particular website, the ads there don’t go after you. In your case, the advertisements that have been irritating you just don’t go away, they may reappear on any other webpage you open, may create a new browser tab for themselves or may even open when you start a program.

What has been the cause of your recent technical issues is called  Android “Virus”. It has been classified as Adware and now we’ll explain what that name stands for.

Characteristics of Adware

Adware is software that displays pop-ups, banners, pop-unders and other types of advertisement browser windows without the user’s approval or knowledge.  It is claimed to have become a serious problem that has even surpassed the threat of android phone malware when it comes to the number of infections.

Generally, the Adware-like programs might serve as a great distraction with repeated and hard-to-be-closed pop-up ads, and also slow down the overall system performance.

Please, consider the fact that Adware is nothing like a android phone virus. It cannot self-replicate copy and use your personal data, such as accounts, passwords, banking data and other important private information. Adware-based products can only track your surfing history and show advertisements relevant to your recent search requests.

While most of the Adware does exactly this, there could also be particular types that can sell the data about your preferences to 3rd parties. Moreover, the Adware you have caught may redirect you to webpages or software products that might contain other Adware or even malware like Ransomware, for example. All the facts mentioned in this paragraph contribute to the Adware’s notorious reputation. Still, Adware is not so bad – it only displays Ads and nothing more. To draw a comparison – viruses and ransomware in particular can destroy your data or encrypt it and blackmail you for ransom.

The usual way of becoming a victim of such a nasty present is when you download software from the Internet. In fact, this is the reason why some programmers embed Adware scripts into their applications. Distribution of advertisements is a very well-paid method to sustain one’s business practice. Consequently, in most of the cases Adware-like programs are not as dangerous as malware and its versions.

Nature of

This is a typical example of an Adware program. Some security vendors have identified it as a PUP {potentially unwanted program} instead of malware (malicious software). Regardless of the label, this adware may raise concern because of the nature of its functions.

How do we catch it in the first place?

The distribution methods the Andoird “Virus” developers use may vary from a torrent website to an infected webpage itself. However, the most common way of catching is via a software bundle. A software bundle stands for the free software we download from the Internet, because the programs that we desire are frequently bundled with other software we are not aware of.

When you install that cheap or free programme to your android phone, the Adware-generating browser plug-ins get installed as well. It’s important to know that this undesired product is able to integrate itself into all famous browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Explorer.

Notice that such applications are usually distributed with other software, which is downloaded without the user’s clear consent. This occurs whenever you decide to go with the Quick/Default installation option of the program installer. This allows the installer to stealthily install on your machine whatever bonus program is lurking inside of it. When you install new software, we strongly recommend that you always select the Advanced/Custom installation option instead of the default one and carefully read through all menus. This gives you detailed knowledge of the components that will be installed and you are allowed to opt-out of anything that is not really necessary for your machine.

Essential information about

At first has been developed to serve direct marketing campaigns. The advertisements it generates might take many different forms. A part of the advertising may involve text ads shown, search bars, side bars and search results.  The Adware changes its behaviour  based on the tracking history of  your movements online.

How to Remove
