Possible suspicious effects:
Typically, Adware is seen quite harmless as a whole. Despite that, it may really become the reason for some a little intrusive research on your personal choices and interests. The programs, which are based on advertising software, might gain access to your browser apps’ history records. Consequently, such programs have the capability of matching the ads stream to the searches you have recently entered. Moreover, such an intensive production of ads could indeed make the performance of your device a little more sluggish because of the higher usage of RAM and CPU.
The differences between a form of Adware and any malware version:
Some ad-generating pieces might indeed act in the aforementioned ways, however, they cannot be determined as viruses, solely based on such activities. The really malicious programs, for instance, Trojan horses and Ransomware, have actual damaging effects on you and your PC – information and data theft, even sometimes identity theft; hacking bank accounts and their draining; file encryption and ransom harassment. Nonetheless, we can for sure state that Hipmy “Virus” is definitely INCAPABLE of harming anything yours in such an incredibly horrible way.

Most commonly, a contamination is completed when you install programs from the so-called program bundles onto your PC, however, you do it in a rather careless manner.
How to install a bundle right and leave the potential ad-producing program inside it behind:
Firstly, you have to be aware of the essence of the program bundle. Normally, it is a harmless mix of various pieces of software, which might represent diverse games and apps. Such mixes are usually very affordable or even free. Every single user can download and install them. The secret is to install them in the correct way, enjoy the free programs and deselect the potential ad-producing programs inside them. The only possible way to have the control over the installation process and the chance to install the needed programs and ignore the useless ones is to always select the CUSTOM installation option from a particular wizard. Surely, by doing that you will be safe from all kinds of threats, even those more dangerous than an ad-producing piece.
