Ads by CasinoRewards Overview
WARNING! Ads by CasinoRewards is considered an adware, and as such, there is one very important thing you need to note before continuing. Adware play a very dangerous game, and that game is deceiving you into allowing it access to download more of its kind. By definition, this means it does not have the clearance to do so by itself, so we implore you to be careful and ignore absolutely all messages you see across your screen. These messages can take the form of missing plugins signs, updates for Flash Player and Java, recommended software, and occasionally – even presenting itself as an anti-virus software that is “concerned” for your security. Bide your time, ignore all of these messages, and simply remove the virus. If you remove it properly, you will stop seeing the messages.
- If you feel your PC suddenly got a lot slower – it did. Adware slow down the CPU, because the advertisements and banners need to be generated by it. They are not actually a part of the pages, meaning the PC doesn’t just load them, it creates them.
- Ads by CasinoRewards is one of the viruses reportedly collecting personal information – this includes browser cookies and passwords, which could be disastrous. Be expedient in removing this malware, as your online accounts may be exposed, credit cards included. The virus starts collecting these materials immediately after it is installed, and sends the data to whoever created it 3-5 days after. There is no need to panic – just make sure to delete everything.
Ads by CasinoRewards ‘s ads are notorious for redirecting you to random websites. Refrain from clicking any ads, since there’s a pretty good chance you’ll end up in sites filled with different kinds of malware.
How To Avoid Ads by CasinoRewards (And Other Malware)
There are exactly 4 known ways for adware like Ads by CasinoRewards to infect you. We will cover all of them here in the hopes you can learn how to better protect your PC. The First of the four is spam email – nothing new here, just don’t open any. If you get confused and still open them, at least remember to not click on any attachments or links inside. If you open the letter and it opens an installer which boots, immediately bring up the task manager (simultaneously CTRL+ALT+DEL) and stop the process from completing.
The second way is corrupted links. Honestly you can’t do anything against this except get a nice anti-virus program that can block them. We are not advertising any.
The third way is fake programs. There’s a good chance you’ve encountered these before. They basically pose as the MP3 file, torrent, or PDF you were searching for, except it’s just named to match what you were looking for. It’s an installer. Again, if you open one, stop it from the task manager.
The final way is through legitimate free programs that are infected. Basically freeware providers are paid to include adware in their bundles, but they are very much afraid someone will sue them. So they include at some point during the setup a disclaimer message you will be receiving advertisements. Most users do not pay attention and Accept – which is what these guys want. But you can protect yourself if you exit the setup when you see something along these lines:
