This page aims to help you remove Master PC Cleaner. Our removal instructions work for every version of Windows.
Every now and then we end up getting some odd, unnecessary program installed onto our computers and then we need to uninstall it, realizing that it really does nothing for us and just makes life that much harder. And sometimes, we run into programs that aren’t just that simply uninstalled. You try to remove them the conventional way, the same way you pull the plug on all regular programs, but these ones just don’t seem to go away. We have been receiving reports from several of our readers about a program like that called Master PC Cleaner. And below we have prepared a detailed removal guide to show you how to remove this software from your computer in just a few steps. However, before you do, you may want to learn more about what exactly Master PC Cleaner is and why getting rid of may actually be the healthiest possible decision for your PC.
What Master PC Cleaner is really all about
First of all, before we start pointing any fingers, let’s just say that Master PC Cleaner is not a virus and not a malicious program. It cannot damage your PC, harm the files on it or in any other way perform actions that are typical for malware. As a matter of fact, and you probably know this already, the software has its official website, it’s a legitimate product that can be downloaded from that official website – for free. It is what is known as a PC optimization tool. And as such, the developers vow that this program will clean your computer up, removing various unnecessary piece of data, such as junk files, programs that aren’t used and are just taking up space, etc. And the goal of this whole process is to get your computer running faster and more efficiently than it was before, when it was ‘clogged’ with all the useless junk on it.
And all of that is fine and dandy until you actually install the software and begin to realize that maybe things aren’t as peachy and straightforward as you would have hoped. First of all, Master PC Cleaner scans your system for whatever may seem unnecessary to it. After this it informs you of some fairly substantial number of ‘issues’ that it has detected and urges you to repair them. And once you get to that point, the software will tell you that you need to purchase the full version, in order for it to take care of all the problems. However, most of the time, the ‘threats’ or ‘issues’ detected aren’t either threats or issues and the program basically just tries to scare users into believing that they have a pressing need to clean their computers asap.

In addition to the above, Master PC Cleaner ends up taking up space on your computer itself and can persist in displaying nagging popups and notifications to further prompt you to purchase the full version. So, we would be inclined to categorize this software as a potentially unwanted program or PUP, due to these exact traits. Furthermore, it consumes your PC’s resources as well, just like all those things it wants to clean it from. And if you really don’t intend on using it, then why keep this program on your computer at all, right? Therefore, you can make use of the removal instructions posted below to rid yourself of Master PC Cleaner quickly and efficiently.
But after you have done that, you should know that there are myriads of similar programs to Master PC Cleaner out there. And some rely on far trickier means of distribution, such as most commonly program bundles. It’s important that you know how to protect your system from these, so you don’t end up with even more unnecessary software on your computer. And the first thing to do for that would be to start filtering your download sources. Use only trustworthy, reliable platforms. In addition, after you have downloaded a certain program of your choice, you will have a higher likelihood of disabling any added components to it by selecting the advanced or custom feature of the installer. This should allow you to gain more control over the installation process and you will be informed about any added contents, which you should also be able to deny access to your system.
