Ourcoolspot

Ourcoolspot

You have a Ourcoolspot on your Android smartphone or tablet and its ads and pop-ups are driving you crazy, on this page we will explain to you how to deal with it. For the most part, Ourcoolspot is considered harmless, but there are some good reasons why you should better remove it than keep it on your smart device.

Ourcoolspot

The Ourcoolspot Virus will ask for permission to display pop up ads.

Software of this type usually causes browser configuration changes that most users find undesirable. For instance, your default search engine may be changed with another one that you don’t want to use and the homepage URL may be replaced with an address that has nothing to do with your preferences. New buttons and toolbars may also commonly be added to the hijacked web browser without your approval.

Ourcoolspot.com

For one, the constant redirects and generation of popups, banners, and other ads powered by Ourcoolspot.com may lead to issues with your smartphone or tablet. Besides, the background activity of this browser hijacker may slow down your browser or the other apps on the device.

And if this doesn’t seem like a serious enough reason to remove Ourcoolspot, we should note that such software may contribute to your exposure to different questionable web materials that may contain viruses, ransomware, Trojans, and other malware.  Hence, to avoid a close encounter with a well-hidden virus that pretends to be a pop-up or an intriguing weblink, it’s best to uninstall Ourcoolspot and remove all of its changes from your browser, be that Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or another one. To help you out with this task, below we have created a step-by-step removal guide that explains the entire process.

Step3

Restart your Browser. It might be a good idea to Reboot your Android device, just in case.

  • Important!

If you are still seeing Ads in your browser, it is likely they are generated by the websites you visit and there is nothing you can do about it.

However, if you are seeing Adverts outside of your internet browser, then one of your installed Apps contains the problematic Adware. In this case you need to take a look at this guide.
