This page aims to help you remove Princess Ransomware  for free. Our instructions also cover how any Princess Ransomware  file can be recovered.

If you’ve already heard of Princess Ransomware , we have bad news for you – this is a Ransomware threat that was recently detected on the web. The creators of this Princess Ransomware did not seem to have lost their time and have created a very nasty and sophisticated cryptovirus that is able to secretly infect online users, encrypt the files, found on their computers, and then ask them to pay ransom.

This version of Ransomware is no less aggressive and destructive than the other threats out there and if you have been attacked by it, you are in real trouble. As per the latest reports, the infection is spreading all over the web via various malicious transmitters, Trojan horses, malvertisements, and spam. If you have not yet come across this cyber threat, arm yourself with knowledge and appropriate security software and don’t forget to back up all of your important data. Otherwise, if you’ve already been infected, read the information below and follow the steps in the removal guide at the end of the page. You can also scan your PC with the professional removal tool to speed up the process of detection and elimination.

According to the information that we have, the encryption that Princess Ransomware uses is a combination of complex algorithms that is very difficult to be reversed!

The first signs of Princess Ransomware were spotted just recently. One of the features of this malware is that it usually infects the system without visible symptoms. It carries the malicious infection into a well-camouflaged transmitter, which may be an email with an attachment, a document, a false update request or a pop-up ad or something harmless-looking. The hackers are usually very creative and for this reason, you should keep in mind that some emails and links that appear on your screen may be masked as messages sent by the authorities or some legitimate looking organizations. You should not click on anything that you are not sure about and should better double check before opening an attachment, a popping link or some update request, even if it looks legitimate and familiar. If you click on the transmitter, the Ransomware will automatically get activated and will start to apply its encryption to your most frequently used files such as documents, archives, images, audio, video and other major system files.

As is typical of this type of threats, once the encryption process is completed, the Ransomware requests the victims to pay ransom within a certain period of time in order to release a decryption key. The hackers usually threaten to delete the affected data after the given deadline or not to send a decrypting solution if their demands are not met. The money is normally required in Bitcoins. In a ransom note, the creators are threatening the users to comply with their requirements and underline that there is no other option for recovering their files. Indeed, only a special decryption key can help in reversing the algorithm that Princess Ransomware uses. However, entering into negotiation with the criminals does not guarantee that you will get that key. In most of the cases, they will quickly vanish once they receive the payment, or they may raise the ransom and ask for more money and keep blackmailing you. For this reason, all reputed security experts, including our “How to remove” team never encourage such course of action. There are some alternatives, which, if given a chance, may help to the victims to deal with the Ransomware to some extent. One of them is the removal guide below. It can help you detect and remove the infection, which will allow you to use your computer safely and proceed with some file-restoration attempts. Without the key, the only 100% sure way to recover the data is from backups. But don’t lose hope if you don’t have any. Check your cloud storage, your USB drives and other portable devices for some copies or use the suggested instructions in the guide.
