If you are seeing a non-inescapable stream of Ads as you browse the internet then you are likely the latest victim of Outsurfing Virus. These types of programs are called Adware for the reason that they create the Ads you are seeing and they cannot be easily removed like a normal program can – often they cannot even be found in the Control Panel program list.

Remember that for as long as Outsurfing Virus remains on your computer you are in constant risk and your computer will be slower then usual. The Ads you are seeing force their data to be downloaded first and that they are rendered by your hardware before the page can be displayed. For modern computers that also have high bandwidth speed this delay could be a mere (but still annoying) second. Older machines take much longer and can even become temporary non-responsive from the extra load. But this is a mere nuisance compared to the real problems that Outsurfing Virus may cause you.

Programs like Outsurfing Virus often also install other, more dangerous viruses if allowed

The primary goal of Outsurfing Virus is to generate revenue for its creator by showing you Ads, but this is not the only thing it will do. Programs like this often try to install other programs that are either malicious or contain some form of scam. This is most oftenly done through the use of deception.

One such method involves creating fake system messages. These are actually Ads created and rendered by Outsurfing Virus, but made to look as something from your computer. They warn you about dangerous (non-existing) problems that are plaguing your machine. Stuff such as missing plug-ins, required video codecs or media players in order to see something, virus infections, registry errors, problems with HDD health and many more. Usually shortly after Outsurfing Virus will then offer you some free software that can scan your computer and resolve these issues for you.

If this application is not a virus then in the very least it will be useless bloatware. If you make the mistake of downloading it the only thing it will do is to “confirm” that there are problems. You’ll be then most likely required to pay for the full/pro version so it can handle these problems. Of course this software is utterly incapable of doing anything it claims – it will only stop the error messages from appearing giving you a false sense of security.

Make sure you read the instructions carefully and double check before deleting anything – a mistake could result in unpredictable damage to your OS or important programs. If you are not feeling comfortable and won’t like taking any risks you can instead try to download the professional anti-malware program we trust and recommend. It has given us some great results and dealt with everything we’ve thrown at it. The scanner is top-notch quality too and will quickly locate and dispatch any latent or freshly added viruses that may have been installed by Outsurfing Virus.
