Let us guess the possible reason why you are now interested in our article about SOEASYSVC.exe. One of the possibilities is that your computer has been infected and you have been researching guides and articles on how to deal with this issue for a while. The other option is just that you want to know more about that program and how it works. In both of the cases, we are prepared to make your wish come true.
Let’s introduce SOEASYSVC “Virus”
Calling SOEASYSVC “Virus” is not really accurate, legally speaking. To be completely precise, SOEASYSVC is in fact an Adware-like program. This means that it has been programmed to show an enormous number of ads every time when you try to open your browser and load a web page there. This program makes your browser go crazy, no matter whether it is Firefox, Opera, Explorer or Chrome. In fact, displaying such large numbers of various ads – pop-ups, browser tabs, pop-unders, boxes and banners, is a completely legitimate procedure. To understand more about that practice, you should be aware of the ways in which SOEASYSVC could be spread. When it comes to distribution, Adware might be found practically everywhere – inside torrents, web pages, emails, attachments, documents. However, it is most commonly spread as a component of a software bundle. The so-called software bundling is a process in which Adware and other software are mixed and then distributed together. The reason why some developers create such bundles is that this is a good way to earn additional profits for their companies. This is the strategy we have mentioned above: showing a big number of ads actually generates earnings and software programmers use that aspect of Adware. The vendors, whose products and services are being advertised, pay a solid amount of money to the ones who create and use Adware.
SOEASYSVC can actually not only be extremely irritating, it could also be useful. Sometimes the ads it displays may really get you the best deal on something. One more relieving aspect of Adware is that it is NOT malicious at all. Yes, you can catch it in many questionable ways but it is not as serious a threat as Ransomware, for example. As an illustration for that statement: Adware is indeed capable of keeping track of your search requests and adjusting the campaign of the generated ads to your personal tastes. However, malware does some even more dangerous things – it can keep copies of your key strokes, it might find a way to steal credentials and entire personalities. Malicious programs can even program your own webcam to record you. SOEASYSVC is NOT able to do any of those. It could only ruin your browsing experience with its numerous ads. Now that you know you don’t have to fight a virus, you might be curious about the way you have come to know SOEASYSVC .
It’s all about the installation features
You already know that SOEASYSVC.exe might be included in torrents, shareware, text documents and spam. You also know that its best way of getting around is inside software bundles. Well, it might be lurking inside a software bundle that you download for free from the web, but it still needs your knowing or unknowing permission to become a part of your PC. And this is the moment at which most users make a critical mistake. No matter what kind of software you venture into installing, free or paid, you should always stick to the detailed installation features of the given wizard. Such options are often called ADVANCED or CUSTOM. Selecting one of them will give you all the info about given software. Also, do not forget to read the EULA in order to be aware of the exact conditions and terms of usage of a given program. Actually, this is the most important prevention piece of advice: practice smart installing. All other installation features like TYPICAL /QUICK / AUTOMATIC are NOT recommended as they will skip some of the necessary details and you are likely to end up being infected with something after choosing one of them.
