Browser Redirect

Toobotnews Virus

This page aims to help you remove Toobotnews. Our removal instructions work for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer, as well as every version of Windows.

Toobotnews

Toobotnews is a browser hijacker that can integrate with your Chrome, Firefox, Edge or other popular browser. Toobotnews can fill your browser with various popups, banners, in-text links and other online ads. In addition, as any browser hijacker, this one can change the default search engine of your browsing program. It can also set a new homepage and send you to a specific URL every time you open a new browser window or tab.

Toobotnews

The Toobotnews Virus will redirect your browser searches.

All of the above activity takes place as a result of the fact that programs like Toobotnews exist for the sole purpose of generating revenue for their developers. And as a rule, this tends to go hand in hand with remuneration systems like PPC and PPV that dictate a very aggressive approach towards promoting various products and services. That’s why you are also probably having to deal with sudden page redirects to various sponsored web locations smack in the middle of your browsing session. In a nutshell, the more often you see a certain page/product/service or click on a specific link/ad/etc., the more profit is generated for the people behind Toobotnews.

What’s also very annoying is that unless you remove Toobotnews, you will basically be doomed to put up with all these nagging browser changes. However, the process of getting rid of this browser hijacker isn’t as difficult as one might think. And we invite you to make use of our designated removal guide that you can find just below this article. It has all the necessary steps you need to take in order to successfully delete this browser hijacker from your system and continue browsing the web – ad-free.

The Toobotnews Virus

The Toobotnews Virus is actually an unwanted program that is deemed a browser hijacker for Windows systems. Toobotnews is known for making unwanted changes to Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers, redirecting the internet searches to display pop up ads.

But that doesn’t make Toobotnews entirely safe either. The fact that it constantly redirects you to various web locations hides certain risks, including the risk of exposing you to actual viruses out there. You could end up on a page that’s been infected, for example, or click on an ad that has some dangerous Trojan or ransomware embedded in it – the possibilities are endless. This is one reason we don’t recommend interacting with any of the content displayed by Toobotnews. And to better protect yourself of any potential slipups, it’s best to just uninstall the hijacker altogether.

As for how you may have installed it, on the other hand, there are a few options here too. But by far the most common of them is from within the setup of another program that you recently downloaded. This may have been some system optimization tool or a free file format converter, etc. The bottom line is that Toobotnews likely came bundled in the installer of this program and if you ran the default or automatic installation, then that is how you also installed the browser hijacker.
