lmao... tried deleting internet explorer, did that, and now it says I need "administrator permissions to delete this file" as if I weren't the sole administrator of my system. I AM the fucking admin and I should be able to do what I want.

Virtually all solutions for deleting a folder blocked by trustedinstaller say to go to the properties of the folder then click on the security tab to change the owner, but I am running Windows 10 and there is NO security tab in the properties.

The only tabs are General, Sharing, Previous Versions & Customise. So could someone please tell me what I am supposed to do, and how I change the desired owner of the folder???

Thank you...

In reply to <a href="https://howtoremove.guide/trustedinstaller-permission-cpu-fix-win7-win10/#comment-9006">Bhagirath Gohil</a>.

Here I've found a solution.
1.Go to properties of the file you want to delete.
2.Click security tab, then Advanced.
3.You'll see advanced security settings, now click owner

& change to the desired owner.

4. At last, you need to give full control to the administrator or user group you're using.

This is very time consuming process. I wanted to remove the ownership of trusted installer for all files. But, Now I come to know it's for Windows Resource Protection. But it also can be used as malware.

I'm using Malwarebytes, it quarantines infected files as I try to run them. But I couldn't find why some files like setupmgr.exe automatically gets created.
Also, Before deleting internet explorer.exe, I could see on task manager iexplorer.exe running automatically and one more startup file used to get created name nysi...exe (or something like that, I forgot exact name)

If you could get rid of this problem, If you had ever please reply how did you do that?

You may need to off load all your files. And need a fresh install. IMO
Then work on the Main MS folders.
