How may Typeframe Malware infect your PC? What could its effects be?

It is a universally acknowledged truth that the infections caused by Trojans are extremely subtle, which makes them awfully hard to spot. Probably, pretty much every computer user in the world has heard about such computer threats at some point of their lives. Trojans could be characterized as the viruses that have caused the biggest number of infections. The statistics speak here – according to some researches, every forth PC contamination as a whole results from the activities of a Trojan virus.

Possible effects Typeframe (and the other Trojans) might have:

  • Typeframe could end up spying on you for whatever reason. It could try to gain information about your banking credentials or sensitive data related to your work and professional life. This intrusive ability of the known Trojans is one of the most bothering ones as such a virus is quite hard to notice while performing all kinds of espionage. You can never know what the goals of the scammers behind Trojans are – your bank accounts or social media identity could be the targets. Even your professional secrets and company’s sensitive info could be in danger.
  • Trojans may be programmed to take over your system! Often, this means that the cyber criminals behind this malware may be after your system resources. As a result of the presence of a Trojan on your computer, the machine might be transformed into an automated bot and used for distributing annoying spam or for mining crypto currencies. Another possible way in which your machine could get exploited is when its made a part of a botnet and used to carry out DDoS attacks.
  • Viruses such as Typeframe might be used for transporting all kinds of malware, which means that you might become a victim of Ransomware and all sorts of other threats. For instance, if Typeframe really spreads a form of Ransomware, it is what allows the ransom-demanding malware to enter the targeted PC unnoticed – the Trojan acts like a backdoor. This possibility is also one of the most disturbing ones.

Mind the following fact: Trojans in general may be used for many other malicious activities. The ones we have included above are just a few of them – the most frequently encountered ones.

The Trojan sources explained:

Typeframe may come to you from plenty of different sources – Trojans could be included in torrents, illegal web pages, all kinds of spam (especially unwanted emails and their attachments). One of the major sources are the fake ads that you may encounter while surfing the web. Another possibility is any illegal torrent-based web page – most of them are often used for distributing malware added to pirated programs. Indeed, there are many possibilities, however, prevention could save you from all of them.
