Clicking on any Ad brought by PriceFountain is a really bad idea

It’s likely that you have figured this out buy yourself, but this piece of advise is very important and has its place in our article. Despite what the Ads may say this Adware will only look after its creator interests and those involve earning as much money as possible. These programs are often affiliated with certain sites and the person behind PriceFountain will get some money from the site owners every time one of its Ads are clicked by the victims of the Adware. Ordinary Ads work in pretty much the same way, but there is one major difference. Most sites and search engines will not include any fraudulent or outright harmful things in their Ads. Exposing such a bad can can cause a ton of bad publicity and people try to build and maintain a reputation. Adware owners are not held back by similar scruples – Adware created Ads very often lead to scams, bloatware, phishing sites, viruses and other dangerous ends. In addition the most tempting offers are also most certainly fake. Do yourself a favor and stay away from any Ads until you uninstall PriceFountain.

On infection methods brought by PriceFountain

Well your computer is already infected, but there are a ton of similar malicious applications out there and they are all using the same tricks. Try to remember if you recently installed any software on your computer – if you did then the installer probably also contained different bundled software and that’s how PriceFountain got in without you installing it yourself.

This trick, which we like to call Software Bundles, is quite a nasty one. An installer for one program may contain multiple other programs inside of it. Whenever that installer is started and the Default/Quick installation option is used all these extra programs will also be loaded into your computer without ever giving you any warning message. To prevent this from repeating please read carefully the installation options. At some point you’ll be offered between Default and Advanced installation. Going Advanced usually only means a couple of extra clicks, but it will also give you detailed information on the exact number of programs or features that are to be installed. You can choose to remove any number of extras from this list – and you should. You never know when an unfamiliar program is either Adware or something even more sinister. Now it is high time we show you “pricefountain jak usunąć”.
