Znyonm
Znyonm is a very malicious computer program that can get into your computer without you noticing. It might trick you into letting it in by hiding in places you think are safe, like in a pop-up ad, a banner, a link sent through social media from a fried, or an email attachment from a specific company or someone you don’t know. This program can also sneak in through old, un-updated software or if you accidentally visit a dangerous website. If your computer starts acting up, crashing, running slow, or doing strange things online, it might be because Znyonm has gotten into it.
What is Znyonm?
Znyonm is a variant of harmful Trojan Horse software, similar to the Skytils Trojan and AsyncRat, that’s really sneaky and difficult to deal with and remove. It doesn’t spread by making copies of itself, like the typical computer viruses. Instead, it pretends to be something good or useful, like a free program or an add-on, so you’ll download it. But once you do, it shows its true colors. Znyonm can steal your personal data like passwords and bank info, watch what you do on your computer, or even let bad guys control your system remotely from somewhere else. It’s super tricky and can be used for all sorts of bad things, making it a big threat to both regular folks and companies.
Is Znyonm a Virus?
People might call Znyonm a virus, but technically it’s not. The main thing that sets it apart from actual viruses is how it spreads and what it does. Viruses can make copies of themselves and spread to other files on their own. But Znyonm, which is actually a Trojan, gets you to run it by pretending to be something safe. After that, it can do harmful things like steal your info, destroy important data, or let hackers into your computer, and what is particularly dangerous about this software is that it is really good at staying hidden while it does all this.
The Znyonm Virus
Calling this Trojan the “Znyonm virus” is a bit misleading because its capabilities are extensive. It can secretly keep track of every key you press, capturing sensitive information like your credit card numbers and online passwords. Beyond stealing data, it can also bring in other malicious software like ransomware that can lock you out of your files, spyware that can spy on you, or even use your computer to attack other websites. So, the Znyonm virus turns your computer into a tool for all sorts of criminal activities, doing many harmful things behind your back.
The Znyonm Trojan
To get rid of the Znyonm Trojan, in most cases you’ll need to use special security software designed to find and delete Trojans. But this malware is tricky—it can hide well and create backup copies of itself to avoid being deleted. So, you might have to do more, like restarting your computer in a mode that only does the basics and manually finding and deleting the bad files. - Then click on the Extensions tab.
- Look for the Znyonm extension (as well as any other unfamiliar ones).

The first thing you must try to do is look for any sketchy installs on your computer and uninstall anything you think may come from Znyonm. After that, you’ll also need to get rid of any processes that may be related to the unwanted app by searching for them in the Task Manager.
Note that sometimes an app, especially a rogue one, may ask you to install something else or keep some of its data (such as settings files) on your PC – never agree to that when trying to delete a potentially rogue software. You need to make sure that everything is removed from your PC to get rid of the malware. Also, if you aren’t allowed to go through with the uninstallation, proceed with the guide, and try again after you’ve completed everything else.

Type Apps & Features in the Start Menu, open the first result, sort the list of apps by date, and look for suspicious recently installed entries.
Click on anything you think could be linked to Znyonm, then select uninstall, and follow the prompts to delete the app.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc, click More Details (if it’s not already clicked), and look for suspicious entries that may be linked to Znyonm.
If you come across a questionable process, right-click it, click Open File Location, scan the files with the free online malware scanner shown below, and then delete anything that gets flagged as a threat.
After that, if the rogue process is still visible in the Task Manager, right-click it again and select End Process.
It’s possible that Znyonm has affected various parts of your system, making changes to their settings. This can enable the malware to stay on the computer or automatically reinstall itself after you’ve seemingly deleted it. Therefore, you need to check the following elements by going to the Start Menu, searching for them, and pressing Enter to open them and to see if anything has been changed there without your approval. Then you must undo any unwanted changes made to these settings in the way shown below:
- DNS
- Hosts
- Startup
- Task
Scheduler - Services
- Registry
Type in Start Menu: View network connections
Right-click on your primary network, go to Properties, and do this:
Type in Start Menu: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Press Ctrl + F to open the search window
