Robust Operator

Robust Operator is a newly reported malicious program which, as per the recent analysis, behaves like a Trojan horse. This new threat could pose a serious risk to any system that it manages to infect. What is especially worrying about Robust Operator is the fact that there is no way to know what this malware might be up to. As a typical Trojan horse, it could be programmed to perform a wide range of criminal tasks and secret malicious activities related to fraud, theft, blackmailing and what not. The hackers who are in control of the infection can use it as per their specific criminal intentions and could leave your computer seriously damaged after that. That’s why, if you have the slightest suspicion that Robust Operator might be hiding somewhere inside your system or you notice some unusual activity, sudden crashes, software errors or higher than usual CPU or RAM usage, we strongly advise you to run a full scan of your machine with a reliable antivirus program.

Is Robust Operator a Virus?

The Trojan horses, like Robust Operator, are a special type of computer threats which, as we said above, can be very versatile. Their multifunctional nature allows their creators to achieve various types of criminal deeds with ease. A very dreadful ability that these malicious pieces of software have is to sneak into any computer in complete stealth. Usually, the victims have no clue when and how the Robust Operator or Pinaview infection has occurred which allows the virus to complete its harmful tasks without being detected or interrupted. Oftentimes, when you realize that the Trojan is messing with your system, it could be too late to stop it because it has already done some especially nasty form of damage, fraud or theft. Sadly, there are oftentimes no visible symptoms which you can rely on to reveal the infection. That’s why, the best protection you can rely on is your antivirus software and its ability to detect the latest virus definitions.

Robust Operator Virus

A serious threat such as the Robust Operator virus cannot be easily removed from your machine without some special assistance. The Trojan typically tries to remain hidden and mask its files as normal system files. That’s why, you should be very careful when you detect them and especially when you delete them. We usually do not recommend inexperienced users to perform manual removal and we typically recommend the use of a professional removal tool in order to avoid possible system damage. If you are experienced, though, you can use the instructions in the Removal Guide below and try to deal with Robust Operator on your own.

RobustOperator

Trojan Horses, especially advanced new versions such as RobustOperator, might be capable of many nasty things. For instance, they can steal personal identification information, confidential company data, business secrets, passwords, online profiles, login credentials, bank account details, credit or debit card numbers and practically any information that is kept on the infected computer. They can transmit all this sensitive data to the servers of their criminal creators and in this way enable them to exploit the collected information for various malevolent activities. The crooks may drain your bank accounts, control your online profiles, use your identity and link it to various cyber crimes, blackmail you and even spy on you through your webcam.

A very common use of most of the Trojans is to spread different viruses and to insert them inside the infected computer in complete stealth. Ransomware, Spyware, Worms and other Trojans could easily end up on your machine thanks to backdoor activities conducted by Robust Operator. And believe us – you don’t want any Ransomware or similar nasty malware on your computer. That’s why, it is best to remove Robust Operator or any other similar Trojan-based infection as soon as possible.

Keep away from these most common Trojan sources:

Having trusted security software is a good way of keeping Trojan threats away from your system. However, it is not enough to solely rely on your antivirus to protect you. That’s why, to stay safe, we advise you not to click on every popping-up link, ad or offer that appears on your screen and be careful what content you interact with. Many malware contaminations happen thanks to spam and infected email distribution and for this reason, you should carefully monitor your email inbox and stay away from shady attachments or too-good-to-be-true offers. Also, stick to reputed software developers and do not download or install programs from shady links, free download platforms or sudden software update pop-ups.
