More information about Trojan Horses

Threats like Js Downloader are notoriously sneaky – very few users actually notice when an infection has occurred. In the majority of instances, you wouldn’t be able to spot the malware infiltration at first. This is because Trojans mostly tend to lack symptoms. They could, of course, occasionally cause unusually high RAM, CPU or GPU use as well as trigger random error messages, crashes, slow-downs and freezes but for the most part there won’t be anything to indicate that there’s a Trojan virus inside your system. Also, another thing to note here is that the methods used to distribute this sort of infections are also quite stealthy and difficult to spot. As we already mentioned at the start of this post, all kinds of content could be used for Trojan Horse distribution. You could find such viruses within spam messages, shady web ads, pirated software downloads, illegal streaming sites, fake web requests and offers and so on. Here, the key to keeping your machine protected and safe is to be careful with what you do while on the Internet. Naturally, you ought to stay away from sites and pages that do not seem reliable. Also, you must ensure that you only download stuff from reliable developers and distributors. Never download anything that is pirated or that is because there’s pretty much no control over what gets added to files that are getting illegally distributed. Also, since you might not be able to manually detect an infection with a virus like Js Downloader due to the overall lack of visible symptoms, we strongly advise you to equip your machine with reliable security software that would keep your computer better protected.

Damage caused by Trojans

Versatility is one of the most appropriate words that can be used to describe most viruses of the Trojan Horse category. If a virus like Js Downloader has managed to infiltrate your computer, there’s no telling what the malware might be used for. It might target your personal data and threaten to delete it or to upload it online, the Trojan might also sneak other infections inside your PC like Spyware, Rootkits and Ransomware, some Trojans are also good espionage tools and many malicious programs of this type are also known for being able to corrupt the whole system of the targeted machine. There are indeed many ways in which such infections could be used and in many cases they might be capable of executing several criminal tasks at once. The main thing to take away from this paragraph is that the sooner you take care of the infection, the better. Otherwise, if the malware is allowed to stay on your PC for an extended period of time, there are all kinds of issues that it might cause.

  • I specifically purchased Spy Hunter to remove JSDownloaders!gen. from my computer. I ran all of your scans twice each and the damn Trojan is still here. So far, I can no longer open my settings tab and it has compromised my windows updater. Need to get rid of this before any more damage. I thought your ads said it would remove this Trojan, what gives. If it won’t I would like my money back. But I would much rather have you help me. Thanks!
