The Macart.site Virus
The Macart.site virus is an intrusive app for Android smartphones and tablets that is known for its automatic page redirects and aggressive advertising. If you already have the Macart.site virus inside your Android device, you most probably have noticed that you are regularly being faced with different pop-ups, banners and advertisements all over the screen.

The nagging commercial messages powered by this app typically don’t want to get removed no matter what you do and quickly become a source of browsing disturbance and annoyance. Fortunately, on this page, you will find a detailed removal guide that explains how to deal with Macart.site and its activity in a matter of minutes.
The Macart.site Virus Warning
Most users may initially mistake the Macart.site Virus Warning for a virus, a Trojan, a Ransomware or some other type of malware and this is not surprising, taking in mind the way this app operates. The Macart.site Virus Warning not only has the ability to fill the screen of the infected smartphone or tablet with random ads, pop-ups, and banners, but also it tends to make unauthorized changes in the default web browser such as homepage or search engine replacements.
In addition, Macart.site tends to aggressively promote specific sites by auto-redirecting user’s searches to them. There are many apps that do that and they all are generally categorized as browser hijackers. Macart.site is a recent representative that is specialized in aggressive online promotion.
Aside from hijacking the browsers on your Android smartphone or tablet, this app also tends to gain a number of permissions on the device that allow it to keep track of your browsing habits, make browser changes, auto-reroute you or have access to your other applications.
While none of this can harm your mobile or tablet directly, we still advise you to remove Macart.site as soon as possible in order to avoid potential exposure to online danger in the form of malware-infected web material such as misleading web ads, infected web links, online scam offers, and phishing sites.
