This page aims to help you remove Prandel for free. Our instructions also cover how any Prandel file can be recovered.
There are many forms of malware that travel the Internet looking for their next victim, but few of them are as problematic as the Ransomware cryptoviruses. We are sure that most of you have already heard about this infamous malware family, and its ability to render the users’ files inaccessible through the use of the data-encryption technique. However, there are many things that you may not yet know about this type of malware threats, such as how to remove them, or what the best course of action might be in case some or all of your files have gotten locked up by a Ransomware.
Here, we will tell you about the Ransomware threats in general, but we will also be focusing our attention on one particular cryptovirus named Prandel. This is a new Ransomware program, but although it hasn’t been around for long, there are already many who have suffered the consequences of its attack on their computers. This is why we will do our best to offer those of you who already have Prandel in their machines a reliable method of removing the threat, as well as some suggestions on how you may be able to liberate some of your locked data without paying the requested ransom.
Speaking of the .Prandel virus ransom…
One of the most important questions that you need to answer for yourself in case Prandel has managed to place its encryption on your most important files is “Should I pay the ransom that the hackers demand for the release of my data?”. Now, we must say that there isn’t a universal answer to this – everybody must make their own choice here in deciding whether or not to pay. However, we must warn you about what may happen if you follow the hackers’ instructions and send them your money. In many cases, once the victims of Ransomware go for that, they do indeed get a decryption key from the hackers and manage to release the locked data with its help. However, there are also many instances where the users make the payment exactly as the hackers have instructed but don’t really receive a working file-decryption solution. Maybe the hackers forget to send the key, or simply refuse to do so, maybe the key doesn’t work due to an error in its code, or it is the wrong key – the point is, there are many ways for things to go wrong if you opt for the payment, and the worst part is you would also be losing a sizeable amount of money in the process.
The .Prandel file encryption – other solutions?
Though there aren’t any universal file restoration methods that do not involve using the actual decryption key, there are still some things you can try, which wouldn’t require you to pay the ransom. However, in any case, you’d first need to remove the virus, and the guide down below, and the removal tool linked in it, will help you with that. After the cryptovirus is gone from your computer, we advise you to try out some of our alternative file recovery suggestions that you will find posted our site.
|Danger Level||High (Ransomware is by far the worst threat you can encounter)|
|Symptoms||Ransomware threats normally encrypt the user’s data without showing symptoms.|
|Distribution Method||Misleading clickbait prompts inside sketchy sites, pirated content, malicious spam messages, etc.|
|Data Recovery Tool||[banner_table_recovery]|
Some threats reinstall themselves if you don't delete their core files. We recommend downloading SpyHunter to remove harmful programs for you. This may save you hours and ensure you don't harm your system by deleting the wrong files.
