Rtb-connect.space
Rtb-connect.space is what is commonly identified as a browser hijacker. Specifically, Rtb-connect.space targets the browsers installed on Android devices such as smartphones as tablets.
Therefore, Rtb connect space is compatible with pretty much all browsing programs including Chrome, Firefox and others. And once it becomes part of your browser, it will begin to enforce certain changes to its appearance, as well as its behavior. For instance, you may notice changes made to your regular browser homepage and its default search engine. Furthermore, software of this type has a tendency to install new buttons and toolbars in the browser in question.
And all of this is done in the name of being able to display paid ads directly on the screen of your portable device. These can come in the form of popups, banners, box messages, etc. And on top of that, software like Rtb connect space, Wish-style.com, Belombrea also quite often takes the liberty to initiating page redirects to various sponsored web locations.
If you don’t want to be forced to put up with all these undesirable changes, however, you will have to remove the program responsible for them. And you can do this with the help of our designated Rtb connect space removal guide, which you will find just below the current post.
The Rtb connect space Pop up
Browser hijackers like the Rtb connect space pop up serve the online advertising industry and essentially act as online advertising tools. As such, they promote certain products, services and websites and in doing so they also generate revenue for their developers.
This is often made possible via such business models as Pay Per Click and similar. However, this very same practice is often the reason why many experts tend to see browser hijackers as potentially unwanted programs or PUPs. But that is not to confuse Rtb connect space with harmful software like viruses, Trojans, ransomware, etc.

Thanks for this. I hope this works. It’s been driving me crazy for weeks.
In my case it didn’t work. I had to remove Bluetooth auto connect app which was launching the site periodically. Malwarebytes and avast didn’t detect the problem
Victor, may I buy you a drink? LOL. I have been flustered by this redirect for two weeks. I pretty much figured out it wasn’t a browser issue when I reinstalled every darned one of them and the problem persisted. The next step (daunting) would have been removing anything I had downloaded from the Play Store until the problem went away -OR- resetting my phone to its 3-years-old defaults, which means rebuilding a lot of stuff, saving photos, contacts, etc.
It turns out I had the Bluetooth Auto Connect app. When I deleted it, the random “activate default web browser go to “rtb-connect.space” problem went away. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
By the way, I downloaded the app from the Play Store a long time ago. An Automatic Update is where the malware snuck in. Malware Bytes had no clue. Nothing is sacred any more 🙁
That worked for me too! THX!
That’s the offending app, thank you!
Hi Victor. I had a similar problem, Since 3 days ago, my cell phone became crazy and several pop-ups emerged from Chrome and Youtube. My browser was redirected to afwul website like adkeeper.com and others.
I tried every antivirus possible, but it seems the problem is a java script related to an installed application. Which application?
I installed a tiny app called “Popup Ad Detector”, which detects the current application executing on the background.
The application worked very well and detected “BlueTooth Auto Connect”. I uninstalled it and the pop-ups dissapeared.
I cannot explain myself what happened. BlueTooth Auto Connect worked fine for me for 2 years, but I think the most recent update created the trouble (5.5.0?)
Blue Tooth Auto Connect dissapeared from Google Play and you cannot install it from there anymore. Now it is distributed from Uptodown.com, but Chrome blocks its installation, So I just removed it and the pop-ups dissapeared.
This article has saved my life, it was getting to the point where 50 new tabs of pop ups showed every time I unlocked my phone. I deleted bluetooth auto connect and fingers crossed so far the problem has stopped.
