Search1.me
Search1.me is an ad-generating piece of software responsible for unwanted and unauthorized changes inside the browsers of Mac users. Search1.me is mainly used for boosting the traffic of different sites by forcing the infected browser to constantly redirect the user to those sites.

If your Firefox, Safari, Chrome (or other browser) has been infected by this unwanted app, you will probably find it difficult to use the browser because it will constantly keep getting rerouted to sites you don’t want to visit. Such examples are ChillSearch, QSearch, etc. Also, the changes made inside the browser would likely further worsen your online experience – you will see there’s a new search engine in the browser that seems to favor advertised sites instead in its search results and you will also be forced to put up with a newly installed homepage address that isn’t the one you prefer. Again, all of this is done with the goal of advertising the site partners of this unwanted application. However, even though Search1.me isn’t intended to harm your Mac, it may lead to an increase in the likelihood of getting your system infected by more dangerous forms of malware. Trojans, Ransomware, Worms, Spyware and other similar threats can be found all over the Internet and the fact that there’s some questionable app in your browser that automatically redirects it to unknown sites significantly increases the chance of landing on some web location with such malware threats in it.
Search1.me for Mac
Search1.me for Mac is an invasive Mac application known for its tendency to forcefully impose unwanted changes in the main browser of the computer. Search1.me for Mac introduces changes to the homepage, the toolbar, and the search engine to promote the sites of its partners.
The more users get this app in their Macs, the greater the exposure the partnering sites get. This, in turn, increases the amount of commission that the hijacker’s creators would be rewarded for their site-promoting services. Of course, all of this happens at the expense of regular users such as yourself. However, you can end all of this right now – all you need to do is uninstall this invasive piece of software from your Mac computer.

Search1.me is a Mac application belonging to the browser hijacker category – a type of unwanted apps known for generating page redirects in the affected browsers. Search1.me makes changes in the system and the browser in order to turn the user’s screen into an ad-displaying platform.
