ViewFD

ViewFD is the name of a new Trojan horse infection which uses very sneaky infection methods and tries to avoid detection by hiding itself deep within the system. The creators of ViewFD spread it with the help of various types of commonly used web content such as ads, different pop-up messages, legitimate-looking websites, spam messages, and more.

Usually, a couple of clicks are enough to contaminate the system and you may not even realize when and how this has happened. What’s even worse is that it may take weeks or even months until you find out about the actual threat inside the computer meaning that during this time ViewFD would be able to silently launch all kinds of malicious processes on your computer. As with every Trojan infection like Energy.exeBloom.exe, this one may potentially be able to be used for a big list of criminal actions that may target your OS, your data, your online accounts, your banking details, your personal or professional life and much more.

Such an advanced piece of malware can easily provide its criminal creators with remote access to the infected machine and can let them insert other viruses (including ransomware, rootkits, spyware, etc.), with the help of which they can harass you in all sorts of ways. The Trojan may also copy and transmit sensitive information such as passwords, login credentials, banking details and sensitive professional info to the hackers’ servers or redirect you to unsafe web locations full of other threats.

That’s why, in case of the slightest suspicion of infection, you should take immediate actions to scan your computer and remove any potentially dangerous files, components or software, which may be related to ViewFD. For fast detection and safe elimination of any dangerous software, we highly recommend you use professional malware removal software and/or a step-by-step removal guide, such as the ones that our team has prepared for you down below.

Very often, in order to stay under the radar, the Trojan horse infection may try to hide its harmful presence by mimicking some vital system files, processes or tasks. This stealthy approach allows the malware to hide its traces and to remain invisible to the user. The absence of visible symptoms which can warn you about the malware’s presence inside the system further facilitates to the secret criminal mission of the Trojan horse.

However, sometimes, if you are observant enough and you notice some unusual system behavior (for instance, your PC starts to run slower than usual or some programs take longer to open or they simply crash or if your OS becomes unstable and there is unusually high CPU and RAM usage), don’t waste time and instead be sure to run a full system scan with a trusted security software tool because these symptoms might indeed be related to a Trojan horse infection. Luckily, since you are already on this page, you are a step ahead and can now take precautions and clean your computer using the suggested methods on this page so that ViewFD cannot cause any further harm to your system.
