This article aims to help users uninstall Disable Margin Virus from Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari, as well as their respective system.
Disable Margin Virus is a nasty browser add-on that shares a lot of similarities with a Malware virus and for all intents and purposes should be treated as one. it creates advertisements (Ads), which will fill your screen until you get rid of this pest. You could be seeing the Ads as pop-ups, banners, maybe whole new pages or they might even turn random words into hyperlinks. But while the form doesn’t really matter the content is the most worrying issue – Disable Margin Virus has been known to scan your internet browser’s history and past searches data and to advertise for products and online shops you recently visited. This is, of course, a vile violation of your online privacy, especially since viruses of this type are often capable of sending that data back to whoever created them.
Clicking on the Ads is generally a bad idea, downloading anything they offer is even worse
While it is possible that a good part of the Ads created by Disable Margin Virus to be real it is not ever worth clicking on them, because there is also a substantial chance of becoming victim of a phishing or bloatware scam.
Phishing occurs when you take a link that leads to a site that is an exact clone of other, popular sites – usually online shops. The page will look the same and the URL will have maybe a character or two of difference to make these sites as believable as possible. They will offer some items with huge discounts and when you try to log-in and make a purchase your account name and password will actually be copied. Then the hackers can log-in on the real sites, steal your credit card number, makes purchases in your name and make your life hell overall.
Disable Margin Virus can also try to make you download some utility program that is supposed to help your computer. Disable Margin Virus is also not shy of creating fake warning/error messages to make it look you have a serious problem that needs fixing. IF you ever make the mistake of downloading and installing the program Disable Margin Virus offers for free it will confirm you have problems and maybe make them look even worse. Then you’ll be asked to buy it before it can repair the issues. If you make the purchase you’ll get anything fake message that everything is fixed, but the program never really did or will do anything if a real problem occurs.

Type msconfig in the search field and hit enter: you will be transported to a new window.
Go in the Startup tab and Uncheck anything that has “Unknown” as Manufacturer.
Type Regedit in the windows search field and press Enter.
