Right click on the browser’s shortcut —> Properties.

Properties –> Shortcut. In Target, remove everything after .exe.

Find the malware —> Disable. Go to IE GEAR –> Internet Options —> change the URL to whatever you use (if hijacked) —> Apply.

Right click on each of the virus processes separately and select Open File Location. End the process after you open the folder, then delete the directories you were sent to.



Type Regedit in the windows search field and press Enter.

You are now looking at the Windows registry. If you want to track down the infected entries press CTRL+F together and then write the name of the threat, then search for the related strings. Any kind of entry that shows up ought to be immediately deleted by right-clicking on it. In case that fails to work locate it manually in the directories and remove it from there.
