Hancitor is a brand new addition to the Trojan Horse bitcoin email malware category and if you are reading this, then you most probably are in need of some instructions on how to deal with it.. However, we believe that being informed about the nature of any given piece of malware is a key element to dealing with such a software threat, should you encounter it in your computer. Hancitor, in particular, is a very new piece of malware and the online security specialists are still in the process of studying it

It is important to make sure that our computers, tablets, smartphones, or any other form of digital technology we have, stay safe from cyber attacks. In the current age of technology, the cyber attacks on our devices are becoming more and more problematic, advanced, and difficult to handle. You have probably heard about the Trojan Horse infections – after all, those are probably the most widespread and common forms of malware, and they are also some of the most harmful ones. There are many things that a Trojan (such as the recently reported Hancitor) can be used for and if one such infection manages to enter your computer, or any of your other devices, the consequences could be quite severe. The good news is that if you apply the correct precaution measures, the chances of experiencing the negative effects of a Trojan Horse attack go down significantly. However, what if Hancitor or some other similar infection has already nested itself inside the system of your computer and is currently carrying out its malicious activities. Well, in that case, you should definitely stay on this page and read the information we have included in this article, and in the removal guide for Hancitor that’s down below. The tips and instructions here will help you clean your computer from the nasty malware and keep it safe in the future.

The Hancitor malware

The Hancitor malware threat is well known for its versatile abilities and for its many potential uses. The key to the effectiveness of the Hancitor malware is that, through deception and use of disguise, the virus is able to obtain Admin rights inside the targeted system.

The Administrative rights that the Trojan gains allow it to have access to most of the data inside the computer and give it the ability to start new processes, disable ones that are already running and make various changes in the system. Needless to say, there are many ways in which such extensive access to your computer can be exploited. Some Trojans initiate keylogging services that allow the hackers responsible for the infection to monitor your keystrokes and learn your passwords, usernames, banking card numbers, and other sensitive data. Other infections of the Trojan Horse family try to exploit the system resources of the attacked computer and force the machine to send out spam messages to the user’s contacts, to mine BitCoin (or other cryptocurrency), to participate in large-scale DDoS attacks and more. Many Trojans also have backdoor abilities – they silently download additional malware on the infected machine. Some examples of that are Trojans that spread Ransomware, Spyware, Rootkits, and so on.

The removal of the infection shouldn’t be postponed!

If you really think you have Hancitor on your hands, you really shouldn’t waste any time – make sure to begin the process of removing the nasty Trojan ASAP. If you need additional help, you can use the recommended removal program that you will see in the guide in order to make sure that everything related to Hancitor is really gone for good.
