In the article that you’re about to read, you’ll find important details concerning a dangerous software program called .Lanset Ransomware. The harmful piece of software that we’ll be focusing on here belongs to the category of Ransomware cryptoviruses. This malware category is known for making the victim’s data files unavailable once the infection is completed. As soon as the encryption is finalized, the malware virus would most likely create a scary pop-up message inside of which a money payment is demanded. Generally, instructions are provided in the message which describe in detail how the ransom payment is to be performed. In such cases, the hacker relies on frightening the user by telling them that their documents would remain sealed for good unless of course the targeted user agrees to make the payment. To all the victims of the malicious .Lanset who are currently reading this – we’ve worked hard to come up with the current article and the removal Guide that can be found below it with the sole intention of helping. You are advised to proceed with the paragraphs below and make use of the instructions provided within the removal guide.

The payment of the ransom

You might have realized that the ransom message this Ransomware virus has displayed on your screen contains an instruction that the ransom money gets transferred in bitcoins.  As you might expect, there is a very logical reason for this. This crypto-currency is certainly one of the more commonly-used online payment variants and is widely used as an alternative payment option. What makes such an online currency so preferred among Web crooks and cyber-terrorists has to do with the fact that this means of payment makes it possible for them to remain anonymous as the bitcoin transfers can’t be traced. Generally, this means that the online criminals who are pressuring you wouldn’t be brought to justice for their shady activities. Keeping that in mind, you should really think twice prior to paying the wanted sum. Certainly, regardless of whether you strictly refer to the instructions presented by the cyber criminals, there is still no guarantee that the mentioned criminals would provide you with the code that you need to have in order to open your files again. You shouldn’t rely on any cyber criminals since they could take your money and never send any decoding instructions or decryption keys. For this reason, we think that the ransom payment has to be regarded as a last resort alternative and only in case that the encrypted files are indeed THAT significant should you consider going for the payment after having exhausted all other options. The steps within our Guide at the end of this these paragraphs are there in order to help you restore your files that have been locked-up by the .Lanset Virus.  A list of tools designed to decrypt Ransomware will also be available to you inside the data-recovery part of the guide manual, therefore, you should have a look at it too in case you are interested in exploring some alternative file-restoration options.
