Trojan.Gen.2

Trojan.Gen.2 is a Trojan horse virus, which is taking over the Internet and attacking computers all over the web. Trojan.Gen.2 is really stealthy and extremely dangerous and, sadly, it doesn’t have any particular symptoms.

Trojan.Gen.2
The Trojan.Gen.2 virus spreads with the help of various transmitters

A rapidly increasing number of people have recently been reporting an infection with malware called Trojan.Gen.2.In most cases, it is able to get inside the system of the targeted computer without showing any signs of its presence. Once there, the Trojan can gain Administrator-level privileges and start executing all sorts of insidious and harmful tasks. Sadly, users may not even have an idea about what is actually happening in the background of their machine’s system.

According to the reports from leading cyber-security experts, Trojan.Gen.2 spreads with the help of various transmitters, most commonly via spam, malicious emails with contaminated attachments, misleading links, fake ads, infected files, compromised software installers and illegal websites. However, there could be many other potential carriers of the nasty infection and that’s why no one is fully protected against landing this virus. In case you landed on this page because you have also detected Trojan.Gen.2 or Serve.iso on your computer, you really came to the right place because here we have created a whole removal guide, dedicated to helping the victims of this particularly nasty Trojan horse safely deal with it and remove it from their machines.

Such a threat should not be neglected and its effective elimination definitely requires our full attention and also the use of a reliable removal method. That’s why we recommend you carefully read the information in the guide below as well as the rest of the article so that you can learn more about the specifics of the Trojan horse threats, about their capabilities and about the most effective ways to protect your machine against them in the future.

The Trojans, as you probably already know, are some of the most widespread and problematic types of malware. Trojan.Gen.2, in particular, is a new addition to this malicious software category and as such, its capabilities are highly-advanced and extremely dangerous. Due to its stealthiness and lack of visible symptoms, its victims are rarely able to stop it in time, especially if they don’t have any reliable antivirus software on their machine. That’s why, in the majority of cases, they find out about the infection only after the Trojan has already completed its harmful task. And there can be various consequences of such a malware attack.

For instance, such a malware piece might be programmed to spy on its victim and steal their sensitive data or cause serious damage to the infected system by modifying it and deleting important files. It might also be programmed to operate as a backdoor and insert other viruses (such as ransomware, spyware, rootkits, etc.) inside the victim’s machine. That’s why, the best way to help yourself detect Trojan.Gen.2 and remove it before it manages to complete the harmful task that it has been set to perform, you should equip your computer with a reliable security program like the Trojan.Gen.2 removal tool on this page or another trusted anti-malware software.
