This way, Trojans manage to compromise the computer unnoticed. What is more, they usually don’t trigger any visible symptoms, which makes their detection and removal really challenging. Stealth is a major factor to the Trojans’ success. That’s why an infection like Wmcagent would usually not to trigger any visible symptoms during its stay on the computer. There is a reason why these viruses are called “Trojans” – such infections are often capable of launching hidden attacks in the background of your computer, exploiting the system resources or introducing other malware such as Ransomware or Spyware without the victim having any clue about it. Apart from operating as a backdoor for other viruses, threats like Wmcagent could also cause serious system damage. They may delete specific information, format disks, cause malfunction to software, modify major system processes, cause sudden crashes or complete corruption of the infected machine. Some representatives of this malware category may even provide their criminal creators with complete remote access to the computer and let the hackers literally spy on you through your camera or mic.  Your personal or work-related files, passwords, login credentials or banking details may also be stolen and used by the criminals for blackmailing, money theft as well as for other similar insidious purposes.

So, for those of you, who truly wish to keep their PC clean and safe in future, we highly recommend you invest in a reputed security software program, update your system to the latest version and pay close attention to the content that you interact with.
