Skilled Marketing

Skilled Marketing is a type of unwanted software that redirects Mac browsers to sites full of ads in order to generate a profit for its creators. Apps like Skilled Marketing are categorized as browser hijackers because they take over the browser and tamper with its settings.

Skilled Marketing
The Skilled Marketing app is multi-compatible and it can get attached to any browser

Most users get frustrated by the presence of such an app in their browsers because the hijacker constantly keeps getting their online traffic rerouted to its partnering sites. Also, in order to further push its agenda, the unwanted app may give your browser a new custom search engine and a new homepage address. Those may be presented to you as helpful new tools to make your browsing better in some way, but they are really only there to help the hijacker advertise its partnering sites with greater effectiveness.

Safari, Chrome, and Firefox are, obviously, the most commonly targeted browsers as they are used by the biggest number of users. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t get a hijacker on another browser. The majority of hijacker apps are multi-compatible and they can get attached to any browser. Once in the browser, they start to tamper with its settings and redirect the user to the sites they are supposed to advertise. A hijacker, like this one and QSearch, usually doesn’t give you the option to stop its page-redirecting activities and the only way to put an end to this irritation is by fully uninstalling the unpleasant app.

Skilled Marketing for Mac

Skilled Marketing for Mac is a special type of malware designed to promote certain websites by getting as many users as possible redirected to them. To complete its task, Skilled Marketing for Mac gets installed in the users’ browsers and causes them to initiate automatic page redirects.

Most hijackers are designed to have a difficult removal process – they don’t give you a direct uninstallation option and, in order to get rid of them, you need to complete a number of steps or use a specialized removal program. In this regard, we may have some good news for you. In the guide below, you will find all the needed information that will help you eliminate Skilled Marketing and return your browser back to normal.

What is Skilled Marketing ?

Skilled Marketing is a browser hijacker malware app, specifically designed to infect the browsers of Mac computers. Skilled Marketing changes the settings of the infected browser and forcefully starts to initiate page redirects that land the users on unknown sites filled with sketchy ads.

In addition to being irritating, this type of apps may also expose the computer to various forms of harm. The random redirects occurring in the browser may land you on sites that contain Trojans or Ransomware or that are phishing pages in disguise.

The SkilledMarketing app

The SkilledMarketing app is an unwanted add-on for browsers installed on Mac computers that tries to improve the traffic of certain sites. In order to complete its agenda, the SkilledMarketing app changes some of the affected browser’s settings, including the homepage and search engine.

Usually, the only way to override those changes is by uninstalling the hijacker responsible for them. In the guide below, we will show you how you can do that quickly so that there’s no longer a risk of getting automatically redirected to some site that spreads Ransomware, Trojans, Spyware or other types of viruses.
