After you open their folder, end the processes that are infected, then delete their folders.
Note: If you are sure something is part of the infection – delete it, even if the scanner doesn’t flag it. No anti-virus program can detect all infections.

As you can see, such hijackers may cause different changes, which may affect the way you use your browser. However, some of the most dangerous and the most irritating are the redirects that the browser hijackers may initiate. Although generally, this type of software tries to expose you to legitimate commercials and sites that offer certain services and products, you may still happen to visit third-party web pages or misleading ads, which may be potential transmitters of malware such as Trojans, Ransomware, and other viruses. The security experts warn that not everything that may pop up on your screen is safe if it comes from a hijacker. Some randomly generated links, ads, and sites that may be suggested by software like Ib.adnxs.com may actually be coming from cyber criminals who want to distribute viruses, initiate phishing attacks, or use other techniques to harm the web users.
Therefore, if you want to stay safe and minimize the risk of clicking on potential Ransomware or Trojan transmitters, we recommend that you remove Ib.adnxs.com as soon as possible after you see that your homepage has been hijacked. The fastest way to uninstall a potentially unwanted piece of software like this one is to use professional anti-malware programs such as the one suggested on this page. Still, if you do not want to use additional software, you can remove the hijacker manually. At the end of the article, you will find a detailed Removal Guide on how to do that.
Software bundling helps Ib.adnxs.com spread around the web!
Creators of potentially unwanted programs usually rely on a misleading software-marketing method called bundling. It allows the attachment of additional apps to the original free programs in hopes that the computer users will not notice them.
Unfortunately, the web users indeed are oftentimes careless and they do not know how to properly install free programs. That’s why they quite often install potentially unwanted programs without realizing it. This usually happens when they install free software using the Quick/Standard/Recommended Settings. The problem with these settings is that they do not disclose the components of third parties but still install them. To avoid these unpleasant surprises, you should use the Advanced/Custom Settings and carefully follow the steps to avoid skipping the pre-selected “downloadable options”.

|Symptoms||Your homepage or search engine may be replaced, you may experience sudden page redirects.|

|Detection Tool||We generally recommend SpyHunter or a similar anti-malware program that is updated daily.|
